Ok, I'm way behind the power curve here on this build, as Joe would agree, I love the slab wagon, excellent! Great SBS on the body work.
Back to the pedestal, one thing I would point out on your rust work for another possible technique, I have used rust pigments in the past and hit them with rubbing alcohol to fix them in place. You can adjust the rust to be light, heavy or on betwixt. I have used this after the salt and hairspray method has been clear coated. It adds just a bit more depth to the rusting affect.
