Yes, thanks. Applied a coat of Mr. Surfacer 1000 and then primed the stand. Going to try and use Modern Masters Metal paint and vinegar to add some rust effects to this piece and the base,

What does the vinegar do?

The vinegar activates the acidic reaction to the Iron in the paint, within hours and costs way less than their solution at Modern Masters. You can make your own rust by pouring some vinegar on a Brillow Pad and storing it in a square keep. It works. Plan to apply 2 coats of the metal paint today and should be able to apply the vinegar tomorrow.
