So I just picked this kit up from Buckaroo and will start mine tonight at model club meeting!!! I will be posting mine in the mini pickup group build, maybe I can inspire some others to join down there in that fun build!!! Red loves old trucks and wants it in a blue grey color... so it will be totally stock...

Look forward to seeing it! When I finish this, I am going to start my ‘89 F-350 dualism. I’m gonna make that a Hoosier Hillbilly version—multi colored body panels. Simulated rust and maybe even a cracked windshield.

Hopefully in the next week. I have a few other kits started but those are all restoration products and those are going sooooo slow and frustrate me a little as I try to strip paint, remove parts, etc. I need a fresh kit to distract me from those

Current status of mine: after polishing, I have a few spots on the body to touch up. Also have a few pieces and other “finishing” tasks.

I find polishing removes a lot of blemishes from brush painting.

I just want to say, I love this group. It’s like a whole group of friends I’ve never met! Looking at all ur models I envy ur skill but you all show as much excitement for my novice builds!

I believe we're all in the same boat....buildin' 'em, and hopin' they turn out nice! Even the crustiest old pro can have one foul up from time to time!! Carry on, and remember that all builders were novices once upon a time!!

I put one last coat on the body the other day. It's sitting in a box now out of "pet paw" range while it cures. Have just a few little touch-up things and this baby will be ready for the shelf!
