I found this car in a tub under a table at a swap meet, paid $.50 for it. It was brush painted a few different colors before the flat black, (also brush painted). I disassembled it to find a ton of work to be done to restore it. Such as tightening the grill opening so that the grill fit tight and right. Once the body was back together I decided to dump the windshield frame and cut down the windshield to a windscreen. I was in a bit of a slump and was talking to my sister, and she asked me to build her a custom, (to help lift my spirits and get me back into it), and that she wanted it PINK!!!! Knowing that I would jump at the challenge, I told her I have just the car for her. This is the end results, I gave it to her befor I got any really good pictures of it, and I just brought it back to the shop for a shoot. If you like you can view the build here: public.fotki.com/B67ville/model-cars-1/ford/ford/1949-to-present/thunderbird/00515-57tbirdstyline/Thank you for your interest, Jerry
