Well cracked and have decided to build this massive beast. I reviewed it on my blog some time ago but other projects took precedence at the time. But with an empty bench and time on my hands it was just screaming at me! The kit is amazing with some of the best detail I've ever seen on a plastic model. I've also had time to amass some nice refs for the build so will be adding a few improvements along the way. So expect some gratuitous build pics later today

Cheers chaps, well the first bit of progress for you. The main hull parts fit really well & takom even provide a stiffener for this section of the build. The ground stabilizers can be built working & the cab is nicely detailed. More detail could be added here but to be honest very little is seen once all the windows etc are in place.

there's a top hatch for access to the drivers compartment. For such a big kit the parts count is very modest but the detail is all there.
