For this GB, I'll build something a little unusual. The following pics show a piece I got in trade with another builder: Close inspection shows something amiss with this 1965 Pontiac GTO body. Something happened during the molding process that caused it to come out a bit misshapen. The red one on the right is an AMT kit buildup I did many moons ago. The one on the left should look like it, but it missed! It just looks like the front half of this one shrunk! But......as Captain Kirk would say, "I...have...a plan!"

Update time: I separated the good from the bad! Since I won't be using the interior tub, I needed a positive location for the frame. I cut two pieces of white stuff for guides. I put one on each side of the body. I cut the chassis to match what I did with the body. Since there won't be an engine, I won't need the gas/petrol tank, the exhaust system, or the driveshaft. So, out came the good old Dremel! And all that disappeared! That's all for now, folks!

Really admire you guys who have the patience with kits like this. I would have tossed it long time ago.

After cutting out the molded in exhaust system, I added some styrene sheet to replace the floorpan: I also added a brace between the body sides with some channel:
