When I run across some really well sculpted figures I feel obligated to make every effort to tell a good story with them. I had a blast working this vignette and it makes it easier when the figures do a lot of the work for you. Some minor alterations were done on Baby Huey, second in entry team, because he was just not gettin with the program from the start, HA!
Cheers, Ski.

Very nice indeed, did you make the palm leaves yourself or are they etch?

These guys right are where the action is and it feels like I'm in the middle of it ! Clearly every single detail was finished with love for the hobby. The junk filled barrel ready to be lit, the decorated bucket, the flowering palm tree, the smaller plants, the worn road signs, the lil fountain with panicing birdo, the broom (come on how great that looks !!!)...the figures almost seem to live.
*you probably have the impression I'm a fan ?

AG the real secret is he runs everything by his Redhead's critical eye for detail and she points him in the right direction!!! Ski's wife is an awesome critic for him and a great support!!!

Oops, a bit late on the replies Gents, sry.
Thx Joe, the mirror in the curio cabinet helps on this one too. Ya, Mrs. Ski is a keeper. Either that or she's crazy, after 28yrs, lol.
AG, thx buddy, but your work has always inspired me Bro. I can tell you do the same thing, paying attention to detail, especially your figure work Buddy, Master Class!
Personally, I found long ago that a punch list is critical during the entire process, from start to finish. I still miss stuff, but it knocks down a major portion of the big boofs. Then, then Mrs. Ski comes in and looks er over. Always good to have that third eye, too. Tuyter/Jan looks over my stuff a lot and vise versa. He knows what he's looking at whereas the Mrs. may not.
For those not in the construction industry, a punch list is anything missed or done incorrectly that needs to be fixed before final inspection, before the owner takes possession of the building, etc.
Mr. Pete, thx buddy. I love your avatar! Now, is that actually your cat, cause if it is, he's one cool kitty
Thx Gents, Ski.

Are the figures glued down, or have you used some other method?
