This has been a new day for us all, so I'm gonna get this section up and running, power it up a bit. I recon I done cracked this egg, lol. Here's the completed figs for my huge 200mm dio still in progress. I'll post the whole shebang in the dio build section, but here we go;
Two figures from ReeDee's miniatures. Stevo is a pretty good sculptor, love his work! I used a Verlinden head on the driver. sites.google.com/site/reedeesminiatures/
This big boy is from Warrior's 1:9 sacle US Ranger BAR Gunner
This figure is from the Verlinden line #2237, Panzergrenadier, Super Scale 200mm.
And this one is a Verlinden Productions #2427, German Panzergrenadier Machine Gunner, Super Scale 200mm, using a Reedee's Miniatures head.

Ski, these guys are perfect!!! I love the little blood stain on that one guy's knee! OUCH!!!
And what's with all the cigs? Don't those chaps know smokin' is bad for their health?? LOL

Steve, maybe you can cut your own paper plants in this scale ? Isn't it an idea to copy photos of real leaves and cut these out (I admit it's a bit cheating but...)

Not cheating at all Brotha, still gotta cut every leaf, etc. I've spent quite a bit of time cutting copies of real ivy leaves in several sizes. What a hoot. I couldn't find anything close to 1/9th scale for ivy leaves anywhere. I do have plenty of real roots for the vines, going to be an interesting process. But then again, the process is the fun, lol. |
