Beautiful builds Joe . On the Val were the panel lines raised or engraved ? You mentioned using a #2 pencil .

Engraved, just took a sharpened #2 pencil and drew in the lines then used a q-tip to smooth them down a bit... then clear coated to seal them in...

The words was deserved and also thanks for the answer . Strangely the zero build of mine has both raised and engraved panel lines .I'll pencil in the engraved and call that good .

I have seen a pencil rubbed along the raised lines with the same effect... haven't tried that myself...

Most of these were built for Fightnjoe's annual Pearl Harbor Build he used to have us work together on... the last few years he has built his own without running the group build.

Thanks Bruce, I have a 109 in the starting gate... Is that the Snitzel 109 or do you have another 109 that's here Joe? All of these are "all that" but I really like that Val. Is that the Hasegawa kit?

I built a few regular 109's and the Snitzel... yes the Val is by Hasegawa.
