dang I miss you guys, Bucky man SOOOOOOO glad I got the mail about the revamp, I lost all my building forums, or bookmarks actually, and yep I suffer from CRS, really bad, hope we still have everyone...

Gothic, we have a slew of new members, here! These guys I know from another forum that went caput! They are great guys, and great model builders! If ya don't mind, go to the introduction section and put up a fresh intro for us!!

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but does anyone know of a FREE Photobucket alternative. I know about Fotki, but after 30 days you have to pay for that. So im looking for a decent alternative

Been using Photo Bucket for the last 10 years. Started out with the free version, then eventually upgraded to the Plus version.Most all my builds are on there.I have back ups though. Learned a lesson after Fotki went down.

Ben, a lot of the guys keep their pics on their computers, and use the ADD IMAGE TO POST button at the top right of the reply page to insert pics in a thread or post. Give it a try, and holler if ya have trouble.
P.S. That button is not on the Quick Reply window. Only on the big reply window.

And my situation is just the opposite of Bruce's. I use Fotki with no probs, and Photobucket wants me to pay $400 ransom to post my own pics! Go figure, huh?

I use Picasa 3 as my photo editor and it uploads to Google Photos which is free and I can copy the link to post here with the insert image button... |

Is there a limit to how many pics you can add using the insert image button? I was on another Forums that had a similar option to "add image" and it was limited to three pics. I tend to add between 12 and 32 pics per post when I add them. Right now I'm using a Gallery on another Forums which allows me to hotlink, but when they migrate to a new server, all those pics go away since they are not bringing the Gallery with them. I'm looking already for new possibilities. My PC seems to automatically upload my pics to Google pics because after I edit everything it tells me "Look at the new gallery we crated for you!" I've never used it for posting pics though. This is something I'll need to know before I break ground on my Factory...

Had a chance to go to the admin section and found he had missed the star count on the 500 post change, it was still set on 1 star, all fixed now Mr. Flat tire... lol!!!

One batch was 4 and the other three. I had no problem. All I can tell you is give it a run and see what happens.  |
