Hemi, it'll have the stock running gear. Dogfish , when was the last time you've seen a 69 Toronado, by Johan? Yeah I'd say it's rare.

If my recollection is right, they were running 455 c.i..

00198-1969 Oldsmobile Toronado This car has got to be in the worst car that I've decided to save. That being said, I did a bit more work on the drivers front fender. ground out the break and layed some sheet styrene and some rod to make a solid repair. I also filled the top of the same fender where there was a chunk missing, again with layers of sheet styrene. Here's the progress so far. More to come, Jerry

Good start on the body crack and repair Jerry, that looks like its dang close to being smooth already.....(If I'm seeing it right, and its not completely smooth already that is!)

Been fixing a few cracks, but, I mocked it up, (not mucked it up), this morning to see how it was looking so far. That's a long way from what I started with!!!! STAY TUNED, MORE TO COME!!!!!! Jerry

Beautiful transformation! You'll hafta call this one, "Franken-Olds"!! I always liked the first generation Toronado. Looking forward to seeing this one in paint!
