Yeah I knew about that one. I've seen it before. I still need one in 1/72 scale since I someday want to re-create the entire M*A*S*H compound in 1/72 scale. Gonna need a chopper for that. www.amazon.com/Italeri-72-Bell-AH-AB/dp/B003N5YPNW that could be converted pretty close and is only $16 on Amazon Mark... SaveYeah, I have one of those waiting in the wings already. I also have some dust covers for stretchers. What I don't have are the M*A*S*H markings for the helicopter or some decent stretchers for the landing rails. Those I could potentially scratchbuild but I have no way of getting the markings that you have on your 1/35th scale chopper. Still holding out for some someday....

So, question, which brand do you ya'all like better? All but 2 of my models are Revell. One was an AMT and one was a Monogram. On all of my Revell models, the instructions actually tell what the part is. My AMT and Monogram don't. I think this is part of the fun of the hobby is learning what each part is/does. The Revell water slide decals seem harder to get off than my AMT though.
Is there anything specific you look for? For me, I tend to look more at the harder ones. (IF I'm going to spend $20+ on a model, I want it to take me awhile to do it!)

Given how many models I've built from so many different companies, I don't know if I can answer which ones I liek better. For nostalgia builds, I enjoy Italeri (ex ESCI), Revell, Monogram, Matchbox and Airfix.
In small scale armor, Modelcollect has moved into my top spot as favorite. For short-run kits, I love ACE models. Other than that, I cannot think of any others.

All of them have pros and cons. I usually go for the subject matter and work around whatever misgivings a kit may have. I have some of just about every kitmaker as far as civilian vehicle kits go.

ADMIN NOTE: I moved the above three posts to this thread. I think the subject fits better here.

I think all that you've posted here are great! I would have to say that my favorite build is the '53 Ford Crestline I'm currently working on. I've always been a bit of a perfectionist so when I get done with a build I look back and think "Man, that just doesn't look like I wanted/expected". I greatly enjoyed putting together my F-18, but my inexperience does show a bit up close on that one. One of these days soon I'll finish the decals and display it. From a distance, it looks nice. I've taken a step back on my F-22 because I don't like the way the substituted colors look. I literally cannot wait to start the USS Missouri and this F-16 I just bought, but the one I will be most critical of will be the USS Constitution I'm about to resume for my dad. That's the one I really want to be able to show off!

Here are a couple of mine What colors did you use for this? The F-16 I just bought doesn't show painting on the fuselage, but I would like it to look authentic and those colors look like I'd expect a fighter jet to look

I revise my favorite one. I think my favorite is going to be this 1:48 F-16 I just bought. I don't like the color scheme or decals that are included with it, so I'm out researching color schemes/decals. Do I go with the Air Force Thunderbirds design, the aggressors theme or a plain-ish combat theme? SO many decisions! haha!
