Here's with the ZM engine into place using the Dragon engine mounts and firewall parts. Fits like a glove...... Excellent news Joe! Really looking forward to seeing it painted up buddy!

It actually fits quite well in there. I did take a bit of extra time so that this will all go together without a hitch later on in the build. After taking off some of the inside edges and thinning the fuselage around the top of the engine area and removing a little bit of detail from the top of the engine I think this is going to fit in there pretty much on target. I'm going to have to be careful with the added details on the engine so as not to contact the fuselage but I'm feeling good about it all so far.

Snug as a bug,Sir. Nice work. So far, this one's not been too bad even with the kitbashing of a ZM kit used in this build Jeff. Everything seems to just line right on up to date. Time will tell......... Thank you for the comments btw.

Definitely looking good in there. As you said, just keep checking the fit as you add elements to it!

Nice fit, definitely the better engine Back on this one now guys and thank you for making accommodations for me in the MoM contest. I've got a bit of an update. I now feel comfortable enough with the fit of the engine and mounts in the fuselage to go ahead and put some paint and weathering on the ol 213. Along with the references that I did have already, good ol' Brent (handiabled) supplied me with some VERY good reference shots of one of these powerplants. Here's with the base engine built up and some light weathering put down. Still got A LOT of assembly to go with this engine as there are a good number of parts but I wanted to get a good start on it:

Thank you Joe! I spent more time on the engine weathering and adding details to this 213 to bring out a bit more realism by adding worn effects as well as dirtying things up in a subtle way to give a good used effect to the engine without going overboard. I really REALLY like working with this Zoukei Mura Jumo 213 as I don't think those guys missed a single detail on their take of this engine. Where we are currently:

Nice. Didn't realize this engine was turbo charged.
