Cheers Folks π
Finally got these off the line...Excuse photo quality π³ 2 Academy Me-163 Komets...
1 Italeri Me-410
No time for a group shot today, sorry (network lumpiness this end (cell towers being worked on) means this post took ages to upload π€¬
Next on the line are a Hobby Boss Dornier 335 and an Italeri Focke-Wulf 190 D-9, I'll post photos as and when...π

"El speedy feengers" struck again before I could change the title..
Cheers Joe, internet speed is usually quick enough round here, except when they're fixing cell towers (because newly licensed drivers with lead accellerator feet keep crashing into them after losing control through a tight S Bend that averages 7-10 fatalaties a year) We don't see the crashes from here, but we do hear the high revving engines, the long skids and the final crump of the impact, followed by police and ambulance sirens, and the occasional rescue chopper landing in a convenient schoolyard... never good noises to hear late at night or early in the AM.

Cheers Folks ! π
The Italeri Me 110 is dun, just needs a few aerials and underwing gubbins to cross the line, it'll cop them today. Pix tomorrow - promise ! π
Might finish a couple of 35ths next, just for a break, both only need a spritz of paint (camo), then decals and weathering to cross the line, which should be a good day's work to git em dun and dusted. π€
After that, I think I might get back onto 35ths for a while, just to give my eyes a bit of a rest from hard-to-see-um little bits in 72nd. Then again, you know how good I've never been at sticking to plans π

Brilliant work again! I really love the camouflage on the Focke Wulf! Way to go getting them done.

Cheers Mark.
No masking involved on any of them, Splinter camo is easy, spray the underside colour, let dry (overnight usually), spray lighter of the two top colours, let dry and then brush the darker colour is all that needs to be done in 72nd. π
Done it that way for ages... used to use Acryls for the lighter colours and Humrol enamel let down about 25% with thinners and then brushed on, for the darkestπ

Cheers !
As promised, here's the Italeri Me-110, finished as box in the markings of an example of the Haifische (Shark) Gruppe during the Battle of Britain in 1941 π
Not a bad little kit, always assembles well, and the current issue has a large decal sheet, with 6 different colour schemes covered, the sheet is incomplete, because it doesn't include the tail swastikas (I nicked the ones on this model from spares on the Eduard 110 G Nightfighter kit) π€
Came up ok I guess... π€
Next project is anybody's guess, I don't really feel like playing with 35ths at present (so much for that plan π€―) How suprising (NOT ! ) ππ²

Turned out fantastic M! A lot of kits don't add the swastikas cause they have been outlawed in some countries... even on reproduction kits.

Yeah, I know.... don't get me started on that one...π
Just about got an old Airfix Luftwaffe oddity finished, about to start on an Italeri Ju-188 "Rache" (Avenger) and a Heinkel 111 (or three), Italeri all the way on the He 111's, which were always nice kits, prob with all/most of them is a lack of light blue 65 in my paint locker, which will be addressed on Thursday (payday) this week (thought I had plenty of it in stock, which turned out to be light blue/grey 76, which ain't appropriate for the underside of the oddity). Think I'm right for paint on the 188 and two of the 111's - should have a nice pile of pix of finished items by the end of the week. Will also be ordering a few Swastika decal sheets from one of my fave onliners on Thursday, I know I'm ok for Swastikas for all current projects. π

The Italeri Ju-188 is being what is technically termed "A Reet Booger" in certain quarters (and other vulgar fractions) π€¬
I've never had an Italeri aircraft kit that ever assembled quite like this, nothing lined up or fits together even close to properly...π€―, but I ain't going to let it beat me, the list of modifications needed to the basic parts (none of which were anything like warped on their sprues) is still lengthening. The wing roots needed a large amount of filing to avoid an impossible dihedral angle which would have given the impression that the thing had folding wings like a carrier borne aircraft, which it didn't.
I think (fervently hope !) the worst of it is over now, but the proof will be in the further assembly stages. It may yet take the one way "aaarrrrggggh !" hurled trip into the nearest wall...π²π
Thus far it looks thisly...
I'm still hopeful it'll come up alright...

In all your years of building, you've almost always come through and turned a sow's ear into a silk purse. With your skills and experience, I have no dount you'll bring this to the finish line.

Cheers Folks π
Here I stand bloody but unbowed, and there it sits .... π²
Amazing how a coat of paint covers a multitude of sins (except for an ill fitting canopy ! π€¬)
Think I've battered it into shape using most ungentlemanly tactics. π
The oddity I reported under construction a few posts back was a mere bagatelle compared to this lil' (muttermuttermutter - I'm too polite to say it aloud folks !)
