Well, two weeks ago, I had cataract surgery on the left eye. Today, I had the right eye done. Gotta put those dreaded drops in my eyes for the next six weeks! That's the worst part of this whole ordeal! LoL

I can already see better without the spectacles! Of course, they have a very old prescription in them. I broke the newest pair, but they probably wouldn't have been much better, any way.

Bucky, congratulations on the successful cataract surgeries! I'm thrilled to hear you're seeing better already! Nice! As for the prostate cancer, I know what you're going through. I fought mine for a couple years and I'm now in remission. Should yours develop to a point that you need treatment; my suggestion after two years of research; is the SBRT. That is Stereotactic Body Radiation Treatment. It is a pinpoint laser about the size of a pencil lead that they shoot directly onto the tumor. It eliminates 95% of the side effects of a standard radiation treatment allowing you to enjoy a better quality of life. There still are some issues of course, but they are far, far less serious than those issues from standard radiation treatment.
