Make that Three folks - The Flakpanzer IV "Kugelblitz" ("Ball lightning") is dun finally. Didn't bother putting any markings on it, Kugelblitz may have only (just ! ), made it to the prototype stage, it was never issued to front line troops in any numbers as far as can be ascertained.

Here's how she came up, hope you like her. 🤔







One to go.. its that Verdammter Meng Panther A, only needs its tracks, markings and weathering to cross the line from here...😖🤯

Didn't come up too badly at all, reckon I've just about got back to where I was with the Testors Airbrush at any rate,

Been a tad busy on other matters lately, will get back onto the Panther today hopefully, otherwise tomorrow will be the day, it only needs its tracks to be assembled and fitted and I'll call it dun, Dunno wot's next either, there's a couple of stash items that its about time I got to (if I can ignore the somewhat insistant Me Me ME !! coming in ever louder and shriller tones from the direction of the Meng King Tiger yet again 😖😈) Dunno wot it is with me and King Tigers.... 🤯 Just something about em I guess...

On the other hand, a certain amount of munny has changed hands and a lot of things have come back to me, for the same price as was paid to me for them when I sold them to the mate who bought them from me, he didn't use them at all (having decided to switch scales in his particular genre of modelling) and a certain bug that had lain dormant in my system since their sale suddenly started biting again in rather hard fashion... What am I referring to ? ... 🤔 you'll have to wait for that answer I'm afeared.🤫 At present the only answer to guesses of that nature is a firm NO ! 😈🤐

The decision has been tooken, it will definitely happen in the summer, meantime I've got some tanks to build.... Panther's tracks should go on it today, as should its markings.... I'm looking throught the stash for my next couple of victims, the King Tiger won't be among them. Possibly a half track or two, or maybe something Allied for a change, or a combo of a halftrack and an Allied oddity (well it looks odd at any rate)

Duke, I've never been into prolific (in terms of quantity), to me, its always been about quality. My standard, arrived at after years in the game, satisfies me, hence, if a finished model is up to my standard, I know I've done the best I can with the kit, therefore I've got the best result possible from a kit and as my standard satisfies me personally, the job's a good'un. I've not been too happy with my results lately, because I haven't been hitting my standard for weathering and overall finish, The Kugelblitz went close, but I ain't happy with it, hopefully, this verdammter Panther will be up to scratch or close enough for me. 🤓😎

The Panther's got one track assembled and fitted, I'm still trimming sprue nubs off the links for the other side (a soul destroying task if ever there was one ! ), there's not too many more need trimming at this point, so hopefully, it'll have both tracks fitted and be ready for its decals by tonight.
It looks thusly at present,please note all track (Bronco indy link), is as yet unpainted (hence the gloss on the spare links on its rear flank). 🤔🤫

Gomez, I also do my best to achieve better quality; I almost never make it to my standards. You however, are prolific in both quantity and quality in my opinion; particularly compared to myself. Keep them coming and, the tracks are looking excellent right now before paint. You've gotten the perfect amount of sag on them.

Panther's got its markings, still needs weathering - hopefully today, I took a "burnout break" yesterday, needed a rest 😴

I did mention the Meng King Tiger missed the cut, but the ICM King Tiger mentioned previously (twice ! ) in this thread didn't and now has its turret completed, just the hull and chassis to get done now (and I need to find a brass set for the thing too, ICM don't include any grilles in their kits).
Also on the starting blocks is a Dragon Neu Art SdKfz 250/8 "Stumpf" with a short 75mm aboard.. After those, its back to PzKpfw IV variants (lots of road wheels - oooh luvly (NOT !) 🤬🤫

The Meng Panther has copped its tracks painted yesterday, its decals were done just before my unscheduled disappearance (life and family matters got in the way again -sorry folks !) and it now looks thusly...



Next stop for that 'orrible little specimen is the weathering shop, then onto the display shelf for its time in the sun...

The ICM King Tiger has hit the paint shop and has copped a coat of overall dark yellow 2 (XF-88 in the Tamiya Acryl range) and now looks thusly



Still a few kit details to add to her yet, plus a brass set for the engine deck grilles, (which still has to be obtained), but at least she's getting there after my longish layoff, next stop for her will be working out which style of camo she's going to cop and applying same.
