So do I actually... I'd rather spend my time AT the desk, not grotting about UNDER it ! π€¬
Gotta do some laddering too, no dramas, just pointing a couple of 3way halogen downlight bars so's they're pointing onto the desk area, less clutter on the desk that way... π

Halogens adjusted, no ladders involved or fallen off of ! (stood on a chair, (an old wooden one, not the one at the desk)....Bringing my old stage lighting tricks regarding light throw and spread into memory and use (watch out for falling dust ! )
Eureka ! No need for on-desk lighting now, no more cables everywhere π
Next step a bit of furniture reshuffling, the paperback bookshelf stays where it is (its a booger to unpack and move and its still accessible, should I want a bit of light reading ! ) ...
More piccys after that.

Dun !
This lot (my "music room") ππ€«
Swapped places with this lot (one of my display spaces, a bookshelf atop a footlocker style box...
And moved they were, across the room one after another...
"Music room" now looks thusly..
Display area looks thisly...
And that's it for today (phew ! ) I do admit the display area would look good with some 35th tanks in it π€
That's for tomorrow though, won't be online til afternoon tomorrow, got an eye specialist appointment to go to. that's my morning jiggered then ! π³

It did..... π
Turns out my cataracts are fixable, so I'm down for a pair of cataract- ectomys just before and just after xmas π
π»
Don't think I'll get much dun at the desk today, eyes are still funny from having strong lights shone into them...π£
Did a bit last night though.. as below..
Takom 35th Pz III N has all its hull top detail dun, just needs its glacis plate fitted and the upper hull can then be joined to the lower hull/chassis π
Tamiya Marder II has had a coat of paint (I've since added the missing exhaust pipe, from a section of Panther exhaust pipe) π
Nothing Dun on the Crusader III AA - might get its decals later today or this evening, depends how my eyes feel π€

Tis rather, but til then...
Not much dun yesterday, sore eyes (always are the day after an eye specialist appointment... managed to get the hull top onto the chassis of the MK III N, But that was it, will get the turret built today. Decided not to finish it as one of the kit colour scheme examples at Kursk. Have an idea to do a winter camo example with it, will have to check the references for that one, did one in the scheme I have in mind from the 72nd Revell example a while back. Used to be pretty good at airbrushing winter camo jobs on German Armour in 35th, think I can still get away with it, we'll see....

I love winter camo!!! Hard to pull off but amazing when done right!!! Wot wot wot ? π Its dead easy when you know how and no hairy sticks get used in the simpler of the two methods I use ! π Keep watching, we'll soon have you knowing how easy winter camo (under the Gomez methodology is ! ) Its just a lil trick I discovered by accident a while back and its really easy ! I'll have a furtle around and dig up some past photos of models in 72nd and 35th that were finished in that fashion.π Best Gomez of the Panzerwaffe (back at the Admiralty where I belong, shortly)

Ok time for a leetle diversion.... Managed to raid a local toyshop on Thursday, came away with a few pots of Tamiya paint, so I'm going to finish the 72nd He-111 (Italeri) and Me-109E (ICM), that have been hanging about, half finished and bugging me for quite some time. That'll be a quick job over the weekend and I'll be able to get on with the tanks again on Monday or Tuesday. Once the Tanks are dun, I'll see where I go from there. There's still a half finished 72nd project or two hanging about in unfinished state, and a couple of 700th ships that need to be gotten on with. Dunno...

So am I...(I think, therefore I might be...)
Started working on the Heinkel again, got some paint on it, but found myself just doing it mechanically, with a distinct lack of interest, thus confirming my mojo for 72nd aircraft has departed temporarily. I therefore stopped work on it, (before I bent/folded/spindled/mutilated or similarly destroyed it beyond repair) and allowed the paint to dry and put the Heinkel and the 109 back into their dust free box of stasis and banished it (and them), to the murky depths of one of my storage areas. π
Opened a ship box, nah.... back into storage that went too... Back to the 35ths then.. Crusader AA still needs decals and weathering, Marder auf Pz II still needs camo, decals and weathering and the Pz III N still needs its turret assembled to be ready for paint etc; I'll get to them tomorrow at a guess, don't feel like it today
Best Gomez of having one of those days, so taking the day off, to recharge the batteries (and mojo) ππ

Today's another day.....Think I needed the day off yesterday... π€
Got the Heinkel and the 109 back out again, not far to go on either, so decided to git em done...π
Heinkel needs a tad more Schwarzgrun 71 and a bit more lt blue underneath, before cleaning up the canopy lines with a sharpened matchstick... 109 is almost good to go for decals as is, will get onto its decals, along wth the decals on the35th Crusader III AA.π€
More photos later π
Best Gomez of mojo refreshed by taking a day off ππ

Ok so....
He-111 has had a tad more schwarzgrun added and its canopies cleaned off with a sharpened matchstick...π€
The Mk III still needs its turret to be assembled, but I did use the remaining dark yellow 2 to spray one side of its chassis and running gear, and a leetle bit more...
The rest of the dark yellow 2 went on this lil gerblungen (I haven't forgotten the lil booger ! ) π³
That's where I'm at for the moment... coming soon a bit of decal slinging, plus some hairy stick work on the Marder II and the lil critter and the He-111's "greenouse" of canopy glazing, til then, seeya I'm busy ! π€
