Here I am very late in posting, but these are the last of the Christmas presents I bought with my Christmas money. They came in around the second week or so of February. The Stained Glass Windows here however: They came in the first week of March..... just in time for my birthday! LOL! Those will be going into my Church that I'm building. These are the models I ordered and finally got.... Aoshima JGSDF Material Carrier. This has two kits inside: Fujimi JGSDF Mortar towing truck with a 120mm mortar included: Pit Road/Skywave 1/700 scale JMSDF LST 4151: ...and finally this UM kit of the Swedish M-43 assault gun: I also purchased a set of laser cut wood pews for the church as well but apparently forgot to take a pic of it. Oh well. That's all for now. The next thing I need to do is source some metal barrels for the Crusader AA tank; the kit ones are so deformed just from removing them from the sprues...

It is only money, not that I have any myself. I still feel your pain Jed. Anyway, here are a few things I got; most are birthday presents from friends. Before I get to those, here is the last Christmas present I finally got.... just in time for my birthday three months later! These are the Scale Model Scenery HO scale church pews: Here is what they look like inside the package: And now on to the birthday presents... From my friend Albert I got this Roden Sd Kfz 234/4 Pakwagen: Followed by: Airfix 1/72 scale Sherman Firefly that he gave me also: My other friend Humberto gave me this Dragon LCM and Sherman 2in1 kit: And that is all I got. I don't expect to get anything more the rest of the year unless someone just gives me something; or I win a raffle with whatever tickets I might be able to buy at a show. I always try to buy at least one raffle ticket to support any club that puts on a show. Thanks everyone! Now on to the manufacturing plant......

Thank you Joe! I don't know why a notice that you had replied was never sent to my email address. I didn't know anyone had replied to this.

These just arrived from Sprue Brothers: I thought I was getting the Firefly with interior, but alas not. Still, this one is supposed to be an improvement over the already superb Tasca/Asuka offering. For now it goes in the stash while I mull over configuration & options. Most likely Canadian or New Zealand. The M728 CEV is one of those engineering vehicles that are something of a fetish of mine. The only downsides I see at first glance are rubber band tracks, and three decidedly lame paint & markings options that are all overall OD with one having yellow safety stripes on the blade. Markings are being investigated; a couple of relevant Tankograd books are on the way. Those will determine which link tracks to get, T-97E2 or T-142. Also arrived but not pictured is a set of Rye Field T62 British steel chevron Sherman tracks; I didn't realize the Firefly kit has them included so I've got a set for the stash. Not yet shipped is my bunch of Shapeways stuff, nor some 30 AWG wire from Amazon that should be perfect for the fuel hose on the F-350 project. But Amazon says it won't arrive until June!?! Oh well...

Had some time to peruse the instructions for the M728. Looks to be typically AFV Club fiddly, which means take care. It appears that the torsion bars might be moveable, which could be nice...perhaps induce a bit of compression if there's a load slung from the boom. It also seems to have a fairly complete driver's station and some rudimentary turret interior detail, including the breech for the 165mm demolition gun. Yes, that way lies madness...
Good thing it's going into the stash for a while.

Here's what I got some time ago. It had come from a friend on another Forums and I was so busy that I placed it in my Hobby Room and promptly forgot it was there. Just a couple days ago, I went in to try and organize the room a little better and found it again. Opening it up, I found these: That was a completely unexpected and very welcome surprise.
