Before I ever buy a EV ride...please answer the following concerns I have
Will cold weather 15 F, and below play havoc with it's estimated range ?
Will it take longer to charge in cold climates ?
No one seems to talk about where electricity is coming from to power the EV charger...why ?
Say I invest in solar panels...and they get covered with snow and ice for 4 months at a time....then what ?
Windmills are very costly to set up...what is my alternative then ?

Windmills are very costly to set up...what is my alternative then ? I have a good friend who bought a EV vehicle last year and had nothing but problems... he had to pay an electrician to install a special charging machine in his garage as it doesn't just plug in anywhere and that was super expensive. Cold weather does lower its range and time to charge. There are limited places where he shops where you can charge them... in fact only two places in the town he goes to and they are always full of other EV's charging so you have to wait in line and then wait for the time to charge it before you can go again. His would charge when you go down hills when driving but he lives in a flat area so that didn't work. When something goes haywire it takes weeks to get parts to fix it and if its a pc chip forget it due the Covid backlog shortage on chip production... needless to say he traded it in already on a gas powered vehicle.
