Rather than let any paint possibly go to waste I started basing this figure,another Tommyswar. My plan is to have him on a base with a period red post box next to him as if he's on that long journey to his muster area somewhere in one of the villages near the south coast.

Oz, the casting on all of the figures I have from Tommyswar have all been top notch, the artists used for the sculpts are at the top of their game which helps. I can honestly say I haven't heard anything bad about any of the figures from the range and I'm more than happy paying the price, £16

Well I'm on isolation as a precaution for covid as I was working closely with a colleague at work who has a positive result. Sooooooo a day in the cave today 😃.
Re-painted this figure (except the face) and went ahead to do some rough shading and highlights. The webbing is a bit too pale I think but I might get away with giving it a dark thin wash. Still lots to do.

I'm actually really liking this figure today, mannaged to get quite a bit done, a few coats of all base colours to tone things down and while things dried made a base from a type of clay which has to be heated to dry/harden, that took about 20 minutes and gave it a quick base coat. The brass work doesn't show too well but when finished I'll take some pictures with my camera which should be better.
