Guess I am the first with a award this year. Pulled off a tough second place finish in a Race Toon Build on the Comic Forum I belong to with Bruce and Jim! I am mighty pleased to have placed and won the new Lil' Red Baron Kit! Here is my win! If any of you are interested in CarToon Builds its a small but amazing group to check out... if nothing else you will laugh a lot!!! car-toons.proboards.com/ JCon

Thank you Bruce, I'm sure your vote helped me win! I liked that over there you cannot vote for your own build... if you do you are disqualified, ha, ha!!!

Yes. I've been doing that here as well. I think it makes it more fare.

Congratulations Joe. I'm glad to see we can open a Trophy Case here now. Maybe if God's willing and the crick don't rise, I'll be able to add to this in San Diego.

Well Joe, I was able to add to this one. Here's my trophy from Saturday. Third Place, Sci-Fi and Real Space, San Diego 2021: That is my 1/72 scale Horizon Models Mercury Redstone rocket. Wow, that felt so awesome, especially considering the literal flood of Masterful models entered this year!

Oh yeah, thank you Bucky! I will try, but competition will be extremely stiff at the IPMS USA Nationals, so I don't see it happening. Still, there is Orangecon and possibly Antelope Valley that offer some promise!

Another Nationals is in the books and I myself broke another personal Milestone. At the Las Vegas Nationals, I took two awards for the first time ever at a Nationals for me. Here they are: Third place: 1/700 Scale Ships, Commercial OOB That is my 1/700 scale Japanese Fleet Oiler Erimo. Third place, OOB Sci-fi and Real Space: That is the 1/72 scale Mercury Redstone rocket... again. It's funny, I always thought I did better on the Atlas, but this one is the one that keeps beating it. Thanks again guys!
