Good choice OZ. Turning a pigs ear into a silk purse. I'm gonna follow along. Too bad that can't be done with 2020. Hoping this year improves .

Thanks guys. Whilst some of you may be nursing hang overs and getting up late, will probably be unbaging, cleaning up flash and seams, and soaking the chrome in Clorox. The toils of a New Year. Chrome V-12, dash, steering, etc., etc. The MASSIVE V-12 The segmented body.

It would make a great Gasser, with that V-12 in there and very light body. One thin's for certain, you never know what the OZ will do.

STEP 1: Been soaking all the chrome parts in Clorox Bleech for the last 2 days and it hasn't even phased it. Either my Clorox is very old ( Which it is) or Lindberg had some bad butt chrome, back in the day.

I've used 91% isopropyl alcohol with success on dechroming parts. And Super Clean or Purple Power have worked for me.

Only one time have any of these not worked for me. The chrome was removed with whatever I used first but nothing would touch what I'll call the "primer" (first coat). I sanded most off but that was a pain.
