So, lately I've been hiding out and indulging my predilection for multiple projects at once. These M36 turrets are one of those. I've done the major structural work on the second turret: The bustle has been repositioned, and it's actually a bit further aft than the first turret. That one has the roof just a little too far forward, though not as far as AFV Club had it originally. More on that later. The second turret has had some material added to the base to raise the turret up. This is necessary because it is headed for an Asuka M4A3 hull to build an M36B1. More on that in another thread. I still need to texture the bustle and add in the weld seams before I put it aside; I'm not ready to tackle building the interiors for either turret just yet. The first one needed material added to the back of the bustle, so that got roughed in this morning: Just strip and rod stock which will get shaped after all the glue I slathered in there has set up. I also shaved off the pads on the roof for the spare .50cal MG barrels. The rear pad is right at the back of the bustle, so the front one will have to be repositioned to match.
