You're probably thinkin, there never was an M6 Heavy Tank. You'd be almost right, but near the end of WWII the USA needed something to deal with the NAZI Tiger I and this what they came up with ........ too late. It never went into production, but enough were made to make molds and cast this kit. ( 40 in 1942.)

The seam weld on the upper and lower turret has a deep impression. So, filled it with styrene rod and will go back in and add welding texture to it, then coat the turret with Mr. Surfacer 1000, to give it the just cast look.

After adding the welding seam, applied Mr. Surfacer 1000 to the turret and upper hull areas. Had some PE antennas and Pentil cable blocks. ( Not sure these are the correct names.) Placed the Stainless wire cable into the deck retainers.

What an ugly beast. I like it.
IIRC, the only fault anyone could find with the kit was that the turret front overhang blocked the driver and co-driver hatches when the turret was straight ahead, and there was HUGE discussion about how to "fix" it.
