Jim did a bit of digging around and found the following information on model cars magazine's forum which is very helpful... "Not Sure what a "Mad" dual distributor is. I'm assuming it's a dual plug hemi. Each clyinder had 2 plugs. This was something the Chrysler Pro Stock drag guys used in the early 70's. Like all neat ideas NHRA outlawed them for competition after a time. The engine according to the rules allowed a certain amount of engine setback measured from spark plug to spindle centerline. This allowed the DP Hemi to be set back maybe another inch and a half. Weight transfer means alot in drag racing. Dual distributors actually Magnetos are still used in Alcohol and Nitro engines because of the burn rates of the fuel among other things. Wire each distributor using the firing order for a hemi. 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, Left Bank 1-3-5-7, right bank 2-4-6-8." And found the following picture online that is better then theirs was...

The 1/16 Charger has a single distributor and includes the wiring (tubing actually) . If I were to do a 1/24 similar to yours with a dual distributor I think I might just leave the body lowered lol.

Let's just say it's....easier.
Maybe not as much fun but a whole lot of less aggravation.

I'll see how yours goes. I've got a pin drill and bits. Don't know what to use for the wires.

It looked like a hair raising experience to me Joe LOL! Thems a lot of wires to route around. Glad to see you tackle this.
What did you use for the wires?
