As of Wednesday Indiana has a stay at home directive until April 7th. We were told at work on Friday that we will be shut down until at least April 7th but to probably count on not coming back till sometime in May. I guess I'm going to have lots of bench time. Anyone else on lock down? Perhaps a Lock Down group build is in order.

Since I work at a university, I'm an "essential" worker. However, I've been home since March 20th working from the office I set up for my side business. The university is tentatively closed until 4/7 for all employees (Spring semester has shifted to online, commencement delayed etc), but we expect that to be extended. I've been meaning to check in but I have been very busy. I spend the day working on university re-start procedures and reports to allow us to ramp up for the fall term faster. I have also taken some time during the days getting ready for spring (When it's not raining) and working on 3 products for my home business. I have been thinking of getting a few of my models inside the house, but I can't get to my supplies! My workshop has major electrical issues and has been frozen all winter AND I am now currently using it to store personal effects for 3 students at the university.

I'm retired, but a lot of my family members are not working, or going to school here in Tennessee and north Alabama. My three sisters are considered essential, so they are still reporting to their jobs around Nashville.

Down here in FL, I've been in recommended isolation since 16 March. With the exception of 2 trips to restock food and beverages, my car has not left the driveway in 13 days. It seems to be working. With a population of about 350K in the area, we're maintaining only 3 to 6 new cases daily...keeping a positive outlook.

I'm hoping we can go back to work in April but that doesn't look very realistic at this point.

As far as I'm concerned, grocery employees are critical to getting through this situation with our sanity (and society) intact.
Let me say a very sincere, THANK YOU!!!

My step daughter works in the meat department at the local Walmart so I can just about guess what you are going through Joe. She says she's seen the best in people and some of the worst behavior in some people.
