White with red insides will look cool. One of buddies from long ago had one like that. It had a 454 in it, and it overheated all the time!

I was looking back through some older threads and found a Corvette that Jerry built in white with a red interior. It looks pretty sharp! I'll see if I can dig it up again and post a link here.

White with red guts makes a car look cleaner somehow, that is assuming it's not covered with mud. You know what I mean.

Yep. Just like that. Doesn't that car somehow look neater & cleaner than a bronze or red colored car? Maybe it's just me. Probably is.

Bill suggests WHITE. It shows all the bleed through. You could just paint it pink and save all the trouble.

The '70-'72 are my favorite C3s. I'm watching your build here.
A friend of mine had a '70 with a 454/4 speed and he'd let me borrow it occasionally. It was the coupe with T-Tops. Had saddle colored interior IIRC. Nice car. I remember it being a goldish color but I just looked up the paint codes for that year. Only possible colors would be Ontario Orange or Corvette Bronze. Either of these colors would work and I doubt they would be affected much with bleed through.
Then again, white would go well with the red interior. That would do the Magician with Bill Bixby replica car too, if that is your plan.

Haven't forgotten about this one and now it's been stripped, primed and now painted, orange plastic is gone... will see how it looks when it dries for a few days...

What kinda paint you using? I the white on my funny car was giving me the vapors..... That's why it ended up in the purple pond.

I sprayed white on a model many years ago, and it came out very grainy, felt like sandpaper!

Thanks my friends... I used three different brands with the same result... the duplicolor primer went on smooth and well, dried a week before painting and got the same result..
