Yeah, that suggestion was for me since my model is missing the engine cover. I have no other way to finish that model so he made that suggestion for me.

Yes, we know Jerry. Was talking to Duke. Thought about spending over $50, just to buy a kit without a box, just to build a Rat Rod.

I was hoping to build one of these, but if Bruce wants the assembled chassis, engine and assorted loose parts, then he can make an offer I guess. No sense holding on to something I can't finish. Maybe someday I can find another complete kit and try again.
As for the guy that has my old engine cover; he was from the LEM and went my something -joe I think. Not fightinjoe obviously; this guy was a premier car builder and painter. He lives in New York State somewhere, possibly somewhere around Buffalo or Saratoga. That's all I remember. He seemed to disappear about three or four years before the LEM shut down,

That might be him, but I don't remember him being called Rich. Still, my memory is quite faded from that time.

Jerry, The photo of the real car you placed looks really good. The radiator ornament appears to be of Lalique Glass, more normally seen on French Delages.
Would have liked do see your work but none of the images would open.
