I got the following, the primer is really good,on the web it said for spraying and brush application, I was a little worried on receiving it as on the bottle it only mentions spraying!! It is very thin but worked brilliantly.

Cool looking Me262 tojo72! If you would, please post a pic of the decal sheet. Is it pretty much like the box art? I like it. The box art has my brain wheel turning.

Nice stuff Joe, do the Tamiya paunts still have quite a strong smell? Last time I used them the didn't smell too good and they seemed to dry very quick and went odd almost patchy when thinned so I stopped using them.

They do have a slight odor, I believe they have a lacquer base even thought they say acrylic as water doesn't really touch them to clean up... they do dry fast. This is the first year I am trying them as Model Master went away... I don't mind them although sometimes it takes more then one coat using a brush.

Tamiya paints are a lacquer based acrylic that some say can be thinned with standard alchohol. They were designed strictly for airbrushing, thus their fast drying time. Recently Tamiya brought out their own retarder for their paints so that they can be brushed better.

I have used them straight out of the jar brush painting with decent results... alcohol would make them dry even faster as it evaporates quickly...
