Hi! My name is Keith Buckner. Better known as Bucky to all the forum members around the world! Haha I live in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and I have been building scale models since I was about 8 years old.
I am a member of the Magic City Car Modelers club in Birmingham, Alabama, and I enjoy entering my builds in shows, whether they win anything or not. It's all about the fun of building for me!! I also enjoy going to the swap meets. You never know what you might find! Maybe your "holy grail" model kit, or that just right aftermarket part, or the tools you need to finish that project. Remember, enjoy the hobby, and keep it in scale!

Allow me to re-introduce myself! I'm Keith Buckner...the owner of this joint!!! I've been gone for a while...in case anybody noticed! I've had a VERRRRY heavy workload, including a change of workplaces. I now work in a nuclear plant, and we have been working twelve hour days, with not much time off. Plus, the things that tend to get neglected around the house during these times have to be taken care of, as well. Hopefully, the forum has been solid enough to sort of run itself, with Steve and Rick looking in on everything. I know I have quite a bit of catching up to do, so with no further rambling on, I'll end this post and get to checking things out!!!

My Mom always said I had a 'glowing personality'! HAHAHA
I haven't made any new additions to my stash, lately. By the time I get off work, all the model-sellin' stores are closed!! lol

Thanks, Rick! Good to be back online!! Monaro, the internet was getting me in trouble...too easy to click the "submit" button!!!! HAHAHA And the shipping...whew!!! The hobby shops I go to are close to my workplace, but working overtime keeps me from getting there on time!! A good way to save up for a big spree when I do get time!!!!! LOL

Time to get reacquainted with my own forum! Hope there are some members left that check in from time to time! LOL
I have been away for a LONG time, due to health problems and work load. Sound familiar? Yeah...I used that line before! In July of 2013, I had to have a pacemaker put in to keep me ticking. I went back to work, but it just ain't been the same! Now, I have a major problem with a lung, so I am not working at all. Maybe I can get back to building models and posting on the forum.

Sorry Bucky. I just don't have time to post on dead forums any more. Life is too short. I am glad however, that you are feeling better and may be getting back into modeling. Here's a forum you may like to visit. It has lots of participation and covers many different types of modeling. Good luck.
