After being frustrated by the Graf Spee and disappointed by my efforts with the Dodge I thought I'd give myself a break with some armor. Nice Russian goodness from Takom.

Hull suspension and bits put on. Still lots more to do.

Drive sprocket, return rollers and road wheels done.

Starting on a set of Miniart workable tracks. Not very good tracks and no fun at all.

OK this is what I had to deal with on the tracks. This is enough for one side of the tank. 3 attachment points per link that needed to be cleaned.

The pins that had to be inserted into each link.

Yes they really are workable. This is one run and seems to be fairly durable.

All done and test fitted. Takom calls for 92 links but I only used 91 one these Miniart tracks. Even that looks like a bit of too much sag. We'll see how they look after painting.
