Fair warning gents, I added some stretchers in the top to keep it wide enough to glue the top on, also had to trim the bottom of the firewall to get the height right!!! Also you will need a shim on the lower part of the radiator to have a glue point to the frame... this kit had major fit issues... I custom built the back steps from the extra parts in the kit and added a seat board back... I will show the pics on another day...

Yessir. I'd already been seeing some of that. Thanks. I thought about using temporary spreader braces during the final glue session.LoL

Mine are permanent black hanger bars... lol!!! Glued em' in... I'm not holding any license to the ideas I used, borrow all you want!!! I am just trying to save you the grief I had with some of the items I listed so you are aware of them. I got to thinking about the cross members I had to add, you may not need them as I created the problem by chopping the back doors apart, if it was left in one double door piece it would square things up better... time will tell on both of yours!!! How is yours coming along Mark?

These are awesome builds gents! I started working on my Corvette last week on vacation again and will be working on my F-18 Super Hornet too. (Finally replaced the dark ghost gray paint I spilled on Christmas day). Sadly, had to save money for one $5 bottle of paint. 2019 has been even tighter financially than I thought. Right now I have to replace the rear shackles on my truck (Leafs are sitting on frame right now), fix a 3" crack in the radiator, replace all sway bar linkages (both sway bars) and do a complete brake job on my wife's car.
To pay for all of this, I'll be parting out our 2005 expedition starting this week... THIS is why I needed to start working on my models again--stress relief/avoidance!

Thanks Joe! We're hanging in there and making do with what we have! There's a lot of stuff we can do together and around the house without spending money.
