No, it's sitting right next to my workbench. I've just kinda lost the mojo to get back to it. A few times I picked it up, but the sequence for painting and building has me all messed up right now. I might see if I can get back to it this week.

After having this brought back to my attention and looking at it while it screamed at me; I finally pulled out my languishing Coke van to try and move forward on it. First thing I noticed was the chassis did not fit well under the body so I had to do some minor mods to this to get it to fit right. You can't see them too well in this pic, but it does fit much better now: Next I noticed that several vital parts were missing on this, in particular the engine covers, front grill and the gear shift mechanism. Thank goodness I had a second kit to steal these extra parts from so I could finish this! I pulled the gear shift mechanism out and added it to the interior and then assembled and installed the engine cover and grill to the front of the model. I also added the seat: Now I'm going to paint this beastie and finally get it done.
Stay tuned...

Cool, Mark! I had trouble with the fit on mine, as well. A couple warped panels gave me a fit!

Go back through our build thread and you will see we all had issues with this kits body fit...

Actually it wasn't the body's fit that caused me issues. My body panels are all straight and true and fit well. I just couldn't get the chassis to attach properly to the lower body.
Gonna try working on this some more later.

Not right now. in between fighting my deep depression and dealing with other life issues I've barely had any drive to work on anything. It was a real fight to finish those last five vehicles so I could achieve my milestone...
Now that that is over, I've been infrequently visiting the workbench. Maybe a bit later I'll get going on this. My red base coat turned out crap, and trying to find a way to paint the interior has been vexing me.
