For awhile now I've been wanting to do an early Tiger I in panzer grey and this was in the stash

OK kit, went together with minimal struggle. The AFV club tracks are something of a chore but look pretty good when assembled. I did not spend abundant time on the interior as 95% of it vanishes when closed up. I did move the headlights from the top of the hull to the glacis as I have seen pictures of Tigers configured thus and liked the look.

Academy sez the decals I applied model the Tiger Otto Carius commanded when he was in the vicinity of Lenningrad. Don't know if this is so but I do have my panzer grey Tiger

Thanks gents
Duke on this iteration I've built several Tiger I's but my buddies seem to love them and end up taking them home. Hopefully this one'll stay around a bit longer

LOL! I'm thinking that if that continues you need to start sending out bills! Here's hoping that one sticks around some too.

Ah they're my buddies you know how it is
Mostly finished. Tracks were medium evil but the runs quit coming apart on handling once I started using medium thick cyanoacrilyte glue on them instead of LPC. This reduced evil by at least 70%

That's an impressive looking Tiger! Looks very good in that color. Tracks look like they were worth the effort put forth.
