It looks awesome, that's one big collection. But don't your models collect dust without protecting them behind glass ?

Thanks Mike, I have one in the stash too!!! Nice model room by the way... as for photo definition I am not sure... depends on how you upload them I guess... AG that is where an air compressor comes in handy in the room, blows the dust right off... although glass fronts would solve that problem but are expensive...

Beautiful work Mike! Do you do commission work? I'd have to have you come up and design something like those white ones for my Hobby Room. Way to go my man!

It looks awesome, that's one big collection. But don't your models collect dust without protecting them behind glass ? Thank you very much ARMORGUY! I have been collecting since 1962. The cars do get dusty. I use a wet towel to wash them, then a soft dry towel to dry them. This does not seem to bother the paint. I just takes a whole weekend to dust all of them!

Cool collection Mike, you might need to build a shed for your collection, never mind winter painting!! Thank you very much Jed! Instead of a shed, I plan to remove the TV and the shelves under it. Then I will build more white shelves between the white shelves already there and the workbench. I plan to leave the shelves above the TV where they are.

Glad you like them!!! Sorry, don’t think I can get away with work and everything going on. Thank you for asking. My daughter designed them. Have to give credit to the one who deserves it!!!

Just a weekend? Wow, you're getting off easy......
No problem on the shelves, I was only partially serious. Tell your daughter she has a fine eye and brilliant sense of design.

Thanks Mike, removing dust from a car is indeed less hard than from a tank with all its bits and bobs. I show my models in IKEA showcases and even then they collect super fine dust and it's very hard to remove. An airbrush doesn't do the job, it seems to get attached to the surface. I use a very soft round brush and a lot of patience. Anyways, it's a way to do some changement de décor every now and then.

I forgot to mention that I use damp q-tips to dust near mirrors, hood ornaments and door handles. Maybe q-tips will work on a tank.
