Well, I have been absent for a couple of months....I spent about half of October in the hospital and the past 5 or 6 weeks recovering from a couple of surgeries. I had a couple of instances of Diverticulitis earlier this year that came to head on the evening of Oct. 12th as I preparing to leave the hospital; my colon perforated and the fun began  So, anyway, I have gotten to the point I am back to work, somewhat back to normal, and somewhat back to building again...though not very fast, still have some healing to do. But it is nice to at least be at the point where I want to get back to the bench and back online again. |

Glad to hear you're on the mend. I've had a few bouts with Diverticulitus but nothing as bad as that. No fun that stuff!

Thank God you're recovering; I shall continue to pray you recover more. I'll be looking forward to seeing your work when you're ready to post it. Thank you Duke, appreciate it very much, I'll take all the prayers I can get. Met with the surgeon today and his good news was that he removed the diverticular affected area of my large intestine, so that takes care of that. Of course when your intestine perforates the best outcome is that you get a colostomy. In my case mine is reversible, and since the bad area of my intestine has been removed I have fewer doubts about going for the reversal. It looks like that will happen this coming summer.....6 months is the recommended minimum wait time, which would put it around May, but our son graduates from UNH in May, and our oldest daughter is scheduled to grace us with our first grandchild in May as well, so I am thinking I will wait until after those major events to have the reversal done. I will post up some stuff in due course......I have glued a bunch of stuff together, things that did not require a lot of precision, as the meds cut my attention span to almost nothing  |
