my name is Al Matheny, known around the world wide web as Tubbs. first 2 things to know about me is I type in pretty much all lower case. bad habit I picked up, 2nd thing is I can get pretty chatty so bare with me. I live in northern Ohio, I am 59 years old, married for 32 years, 2 sons 25 and 17, have a 1:1 pro street road runner and a best friend named Wilson, who you will see as my avatar. I love sports, big Indians and Browns fan. I bowl, throw darts, collect magazines, love music (rock and roll mostly) only two things I hate, the Steelers and any motor with less than 8 cylinders (sorry).
as far as models go, I start many, don't finish a darn thing. big fan of pro street, drag and resto-mods, love to look at any subject. just cause I don't build it, doesn't mean I don't want to look at it. I ask a lot of questions, will give some commentsl, never criticism, if I see something that is not quit right or don't understand, I will mention it. and I hope when I post up something, I get the same treatment.
Bucky joined my forum, I figured I would return the favor, gonna look around and see more models that are better than mine.... oh yea, I am terribly negative against my own builds too.

Mr.Tubbs...I don't think you live very far from me or another member (Jerry)...On another subject... bout that V8 thing...my Benz and my wife's old Jag both have 6 pots in em and there both quick and fast... handle great and stop with out trouble...Yup I'm a Euro trash fan.  |

I'd like to suggest you guys check it out. As the name suggests, they do mostly MOPAR over there, but they do have other stuff, as well......even the "slant six" that Tubbs loves so well!! |

Welcome aboard,nice to have you.My father was an old Cleveland Brown fan living in NJ,going back to Marion Motley and Jimmy Brown.Sorry about their recent demise though.

I an terrible at names so it you have ever been there, you have seen me. well, you have my condolences on those motors.... hehe, sorry. now the braking, handling and stuff is great. I cant go on a highway on the cloverleaf going any faster than 40. my car corners very well, as long as it fairly straight. hehe, nothing wrong with Euro trash, I just prefer knocking the dishes out of the cupboards when idling in the driveway. btw, I live in Mantua, near Streetsboro. here is my cornering beast...   |
