Hey guys I'm happier than a pig in poop Idk if the moons were aligned right in my mothers world today but she let me actually buy a new compressor!! Guess it was her way of saying TY for busting your butt outside all summer so the house doesn't look like a trash dump : Anyways I ordered it like 2 mins ago from Harbor Freight, I did my research for hrs. Watched Vids, visited Forums asked question lol I did my due diligence with this. Anyways I got the compressor and a couple of fittings to attach it to my paasche H. I already have the filter thingy on my current compressor which is dead so im just gonna swap it over. I dont know when its gonna ship out obviously yet, but idc I'm happy i can finally airbrush properly!!! My current compressor I had no way of adjusting anything. I plug it in and its stuck on high, like massive leaf blower kinda high. So being able to not adjust the psi properly really ticked me off. This new one has a tank as well. I didn't get the pancake, for two reasons. One I have no room for a round compressor on my workbench, and two, I love pancakes so id be hungry all the time. So i got the hot dog one. Mainly cause it will fit on my bench just fine, and I hate hotdogs with a passion so it wont affect. I know I know really Ben seriously..... Yes Im anal retentive and picky like that. Anyways when it gets here I will be sure to take pics or maybe a video. Im sure y'all can probably guess which one i got. But for being on sale for $39.99 from 62.99 I couldn't say no. On top of that I had a coupon for 20% off one item, So i applied that to the pack of fittings i got. All in all came out to 51.85 with shipping. Not bad considering I got over 15 dollars off with the discount and the 20% coupon.

Well this is wacky, Idk why Harbor Frieght couldnt combine the items in one shipment lol. Apparently The compressor is coming from South Carolina and the fittings are coming from California LMAO!! So ill probably get the compressor middle of next week and the fittings at the end of the week lol.

Great deal Ben!! My compressor is one I got from Harbor Freight 4-5 years ago and it's still working great though I do need a small fan to blow on the motor cause it will heat up and slow the compressor down. Other than that no problems.

Well a little shipping update.... The compressor will now be here on **Thursday** but the fittings have been bumped from the 20th to the 25th. lol. Sooooo this means if the compressor does show up Thursday I cant even do the 30 min break in that i need to do as per the instructions I've already downloaded. Because the compressor doesn't come with the quick release fitting needed to stick in the hole. So it will prob be next week until i can actually use it lol. Who knows though maybe the delivery times will change again... Then again the compressor is physically being delivered by FedEx home, the fittings are coming by way of FedEx Smartpost... Which means FedEx delivers is to the post office and they finish the job... So stay tuned!!!!! Enjoy waiting with me

Very nice, Ben. Looks like the upgraded version of the one I got from HF over 10 years ago and it's still going strong. Make sure you keep it clean, dry, and decompress all the air after every use to prevent moisture formation, and it should last you for many, many years. Can't wait to see your first test shots!

Thanks for the replies guys. Quick update, went to Walmart today with my mother. So I walked down to the automotive, hardware aisle. Apparently this Walmart had compressors and also it's a different fittings so I picked these up because I'm impatient and don't want to wait until Wednesday when the ones I ordered show up. So I'm going to try it later on see if they work I will let you know if not I'll have to wait until Wednesday I mean for only $5 so can't expect miracles, but fingers crossed

Well everything is up and running now. The fittings i bought at walmart worked just fine. I did the 30 min break in today and filled the tank attached the air brush and worked just fine, and i can adjust the psi to whatever i need. So glad i got this, I retired my old one to the shelf for a nostalgic kinda antique thing. I didnt do any airbrushing today tho, I wanna practice first before i go wild on a car. I gotta get my mixtures down first. Will post pics of whole setup tomorrow
