Update Tracks: Well that's done and even with taking the sag out behind the sprockets it turns out you are still two links short, one on each side,to add to that the idlers are not adjustable so you can't gain anything there. BUT on another sprue there is eight links, four I guess are for spare links and four are the same as the length section links with straight guide horn that you can use for fill in's. On the road wheel run where you place one L4 link on each end to transition around the first and last road wheel the angle was a little sharp for my liking. I applied some Tamiya super thin glue in the joint top and bottom between the last two link pads of the length section to soften the plastic and bent the last pad up a little to smooth out the curve around the road wheels. That's All Folks Tony lee

Tracks look great, Tony. I guess I'll have to order a couple of additional sprues from Asuka so that I can make my idlers adjustable on the M31 and Grant kits I have in stock.

Update Texture on Drive Case and MG Turret: I really couldn't tell looking at photos but the kit case and turret were smooth and didn't even look like castings, right or wrong they do now. Tony lee

Elfin Magic Jeff Thanks Buck Rather than be water boarded Jeff i'll spill those beans: First I brush on a light coat of Tamiya Thin glue followed by a light coat of Model Master glue in the black bottle and with a stiff simi-pointed brush start stippling like a crazy man until I like the looks of it and if not I cover the area again with the MM glue and start stippling which usually is enough. Only do an area that you can do at a time before the glue gets to dry. Let dry, then with a fine sanding stick I knock the whiskers or high spot off then a light coat of primer to see how it looks. Some people use a putty or Mr. Surfacer 1000,I feel I have better control with just glue. There you have it Tony lee

OD Test Bed I built this yesterday to serve as my sacrifice to the OD Gods. Reading about this buggy it said for it's day(1974)it was very nice but in today's world of modeling it's not even close to being anywhere near acceptable, surely Tamiya or some other manufacture will release one that's more up to snuff soon. Storms are on the way for this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow so i'm going to grill a couple of pork steaks before they hit. See Ya Later Tony lee
