I think this one is just about ready for primer now. I've added more bolts around the turret ring; the images only show three on the fixed portion but it's clear from the production examples that many more bolts were used. I decided to chalk up the discrepancy to the fact that the few images of this tank were taken during the conversion process when things were being mocked up. I have made a couple of casually draped tarps out of tissue soaked in water & white glue, and will include the funnel. That will have to have some rope fitted to tie it down after paint is done. You can't see it because it's translucent, but I've stippled some more acrylic texture gel on the suspension, tracks, and lower hull to add to the frozen mud. I think this one gets primer next week.

Then out to the garage and some time with the airbrush.

No, not forgotten. But as an enamel guy, painting for me is a long process with much down time while the colored stuff cures. Base coats for OD and mud are on; the OD just yesterday. In about a week I'll mix a lighter earth tone and use my Olympos brush to highlight the drier areas of mud on the hull sides, sprocket center, and outer surfaces of the bogie frames.
