With so little bench time I decided to take a leaf out of Jeff’s book and build a Braille scale tanky Picked up Revell’s 1/72 PzIIIM and a few hours later I’m here. looks like I might finish this year    |

Looking good so far Steve. Its amazing to me how much detail they do pack into these tiny things, not to mention how realistic some of you guys can make them look.

Joe and Steve, I agree I mean after all Duke has like 1000 braille scale models at his house so when someone does a braille scale Duke should be the logical choice to blame. Heck I look to him for the reason I have decided to do a Battle of Britain display of all the planes that flew in it.

After all, while Jeff builds Braille Scale armor; better than me even, he also builds larger scales too. I however build exclusively in Braille Scale when it comes to armor and aircraft. Thank you ever so much for some credit! Jeff, I am thrilled to share this blame with you; after all, I may build in quantity, you build in quality! Rich, thanks! I'm not quite there unless you're counting my aircraft with my armor; then I'm considerably higher than a thousand. Finally Steve: that is a magnificent job you've done so far. Excellent clean build! Thanks for the memories and welcome to My World!  I'm looking forward to seeing more. |

A year ago in January, I finished my 700th model. It was a BM-30 SMERCH Russian rocket launcher:  A month later; a year ago last month, I set out all 700 of my armor models on display to show them all together at the same time. It ain't much since most of them are shapeless blobs from this distance, but it does show the extent of my entire collection:  Rich, now you are fully caught up. At least with my armor collection. My apologies for hijacking this Thread here, I now return you to your regularly scheduled Thread. Rich, I'm truly looking forward to seeing your Battle of Britain display. If you have anything done on it so far, please start a new Thread to show it off and allow us all to follow your progress on it. |
