What we need is a Tammy Kit GB! Any kit, as long as it's by Tamiya!

I have a nice Tamiya Ferarri thanks to Bucky... Oh yes. I remember it well. Before I could even open the thread, it was in the mail to you.

We can wait Prof, no worries!!! I'm in holding pattern now because my compressor gave up the ghost yesterday and I had to order a new one...

Chaps. We have wheels. Reason for the delay was the hub caps. They are supplied in chrome and Tamiya would have you paint them then apply the Mercedes decal over the top. I wasn't convinced this was the best way to go so instead I applied a few coats of the body colour to the whole part then removed what I didn't want with one of Tamiyas really useful pointed cotton buds soaked in cellulose thinners. It took me three or four attempts but I succeeded, quickly sealing them with X-22 to avoid damage. What do you think, success? I'm happy with them. Cheers.

Thanks chaps.
I need to replicate my good fortune on the dashboard as well but that is far more complex.

Thank you kind chaps. Out of build sequence but up next is the dashboard. The starting point is nicely moulded and well detailed but a long way from looking similar to the real deal. Its taken a while but I have completed it and it's come out like... While I am critical of my own efforts I must remember this is much larger than it will be viewed once fitted and should look just fine.
