You got the way I felt about them marks also Guy . They just as well could of been on the back side since that side is hidden from sight . Oh well . Having troubles now with fitting the cab to the base .

Not the first time I've heard this described thus. Can't say as I'm a fan of HobbyBoss given my experience with them but I guess if ya want one of these it's pretty much your only option.
I feel your pain but am confident you'll get it hashed out...what you've got done so far looks excellent.

Great responses gents !!!! Like you said Mark its the only kit out there in ejection molded 1/35 to tow the M59 cannon . I did figure out a way to solve the problem without resorting to the hammer ! Some filing was necessary and a set of carpentry clamps was used is all . I don't now what method anyone else used but I got er done .

Progress has occurred . The cab is temporarily set on the base . After the filing and clamping it fit ok , Just a little view of the putty work . The white putty don't stick well so its back to the Bondo . photo sharing sites no sign up
