They were painted a Light Green.i'll have to look that up to see what they are referring to as Light Green. Tony lee Paint it Olive Drab, Tony, or SCC 2 Brown. The Sextons were manufactured at Montreal Locomotive Works in 1943, and paint stocks for Canadian production were much the same as for US production. Many individual components came to MLW from US factories and would have been finished in Olive Drab anyway. SCC2 will be a bit darker and browner, but not by much and don't forget that there was some variation in shade between batches of paint no matter the color. "Light Green" isn't remotely correct. Take a look at these: The first image shows Black or Blue-Black over either OD or SCC2; take your pick. Not much to tell between the, especially with color variations of film stock from seventy years ago. The second one shows a reinforced bogie on a survivor, and to my eyes that looks like faded OD.

Thanks Sherm,i've been researching and most everything points back to Starmer's colors. I got all kinds of green and I think I can get close and a brown color wash will tone it to about the same as the first picture you posted. Thanks much Tony lee
