One cool thing about this book is it is in English and also the original language it was written in which I believe is German, side by side... great drawings and authentic photos from both world wars...

LOL Prof!!! I have never spent over $85 for a kit and that only happened twice... lol!!! The Tyrell goes for around $100 over here! That is a nice kit when built up though!!!! |

If you consider we probably can't build models properly after we're about 70 years old I did the math and worked out I would have to build and paint a kit at the rate of one every 10-12 days...non stop. It was at that point a decision was taken to buy fewer kits but still spend the same. |

LOL, I figure if I don't get them built my sons and grandkids will whittle away at em' or sell them on Ebay, they know the value of kits!!! Or Red can sell them and buy more quilt stuff, she knows the value also!!! Trained them well!!!  |

Pre order placed. Cool kit Prof!! I saw Mike & Edd on the 'Wheeler Dealer' TV show refurbish one of these and even though the kit may be expensive the real thing is VERY expensive. |

It's a lovely kit.
Much of the price comes down to the engineering of it, real aluminium body panels will inevitably bump the price significantly, couple that with metal exhaust system and roll bar, numerous screws and fittings, fabric seat belts, rubber engine belts and of all things carpet give you the true multimedia experience.
Although it's a repop, I will do a cheeky in box review when it turns up.
