I need another project like I need a hole in the head, but After looking at this since last xmas (2016) on my shelf. You may be asking Ben why did it take you a year to start that kit, Well i did try to strip alot of the chrome last december and kinda messed up. I didnt have any of my favorite stripped which would be Clorox bleach, So in a stupid dumbass move I used 100% Acetone nail polish remover... I wouldnt recommend this, as within 5 mins some 20 chrome parts were now melted into one big blob!!! So back on the shelf for over a yr it went. Now it was an Xmas gift from a fellow modeler on FB, Which i thought was awesome. Fast forward to November of this year. He had asked me if I started it yet... Cause he saw no progress pics on my FB at all. It took me 2 days to answer him back cause I was embarrassed as heck but I told him what happened. At first I was expecting to get yelled at, I mean this really isnt a cheap kit. But instead he said "Tell me the parts you messed up and Ill send ya new parts" Well I almost ticked myself, Anyways I recieved the parts i needed from him on thursday of last week. I tell you some people are just awesome. To first send me a kit for xmas last year, then i screw up stripping the parts, Then he sends me replacements for free. I guess there are some decent people left in the world. Anyways enuff yapping heres my winter project!!!

They don't make it easy for 1:25 scale.

Nice work stretching that out. Great job. I could also tell how excited you were about this since you used no punctuation in your post.

THIS MODEL HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD FOR NOW, IT IS NO LONGER MY ENTRY INTO THIS GROUP BUILD. DUE TO AN ACCIDENT THE FRAME IS NOT SALVAGEABLE. I WILL CONTINUE THIS BUILD AT A LATER DAY. I HAVE REPLACED IT WITH A PETERBILT.
