Well our winter storm warning for yesterday was correct, about 8.5 inches of snow followed by freezing rain and ice... was without power from 1:30 in the afternoon till 7 last night, snowblower twice and still have to go out and hit it again!!! Couldn't get my 4 wheel drive truck up our driveway, still parked down the hill... trees down all over the county and lots still without power and temps to drop into the 20's for the highs and single digits for the lows through Christmas!!! We haw!!!! Glad I had my backup wood stove and gravity fed spring water!!! At least it's pretty out this morning!!!   |

Yes, it's pretty...
...but, having spent the first 22 years of my life in northeastern Michigan, if I never see that much snow in person in my life again, I will NOT be upset.
BTW - Our Pensacola Christmas forecast is 32F going up to maybe 50F for a high.

I'm hoping we don't get any snow here in Tennessee. But, if it does snow, at least I don't have to get out in it and drive to work!!  |

Got done snowblowing and the county plow came by to do the highway again and buried the end of the driveway again... grrrrr!!!  |

We are supposed to get 10" today...the threat was enough to cancel school so me and the kids have a snow day!! My wife is off too so now she has help cleaning the house |
