Well maybe some of you knew that my mother was nice enough to let me order a new laptop as an Xmas gift from fingerhut. So i spent all of last Tuesday the 5th deciding on which one i wanted and made the order on Wednesday the 6th. Fast forward to the 11th when it arrived by UPS at 704pm. Now this is funny since it went out for deliver at 804 am from the UPS warehouse in the same town as me, Literally its 2 mins away lol but took almost 12hrs to get to me. So I spend tues and wed doing countless updates that needed to be done. Something kinda flipped a switch in my head when I realized it was taking wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long to do these updates. So this morning i tried to run a game i like to play and the new laptop cant even run it!! My old one may be a pos but compared to the new one i got it runs circles around it. Not to mention the startup times for the old one from power on to windows ready is about 19 secs, The new one took over 3 minutes. So today i had enough i put that sucker back in the box and went to the library printed off a return shipping label and sent it back to FIngerhut for credit. My mother asked me if i wanted to exchange it I said no, I dont care if my old lappy which im on now gets a little hot at times at least it can run programs. I told her it was not worth the 34.99 a month for that piece of poooooopie. Ill get me a proper gaming desktop down the road.
