T'anks gents. Some more progress on the Batash, close enough that I'm brush painting the hard-to-spray-into areas, primer soon. The big parts are pretty much on, just some stowage and tow cables to add. IMG_3077 by Russel Baer, on Flickr And MG's: IMG_3078 by Russel Baer, on Flickr Still trying to use up spare parts, and just for kicks, I bought the Takom M60H "Brave Tiger" and an AFV Club M60A3, both lovely kits. I expect I'll get into the Takom kit first, it's a lot more like a Tamiya kit as far as ease of assembly goes, and I like that.

Some really sharp looking builds Rusty. The non skid solution was ingenious.

So, the 'Batash is in color, Krylon again, this time a satin khaki semi-gloss. The color is about right, but it takes two or three very light coats to cover, unlike my preferred flat colors. IMG_3083 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_3084 by Russel Baer, on Flickr On the 'Gal, I built up the Legends "teacher's chair" ( I think the literal translation from Hebrew is more along the line of "kindergarten chair") and got it mounted and started the mounts on the glacis for the unused reactive armor packs, removed to mount the Nochri mount. I also pulled the tracks, drive sprockets and final drive housings from my AFV Club M60A3 and mounted them. T'anks gents. A wee bit more on the 'Gal: IMG_3750 by Russel Baer, on Flickr IMG_3749 by Russel Baer, on Flickr Smoke box thingies, commander's cupola, and a few small bits added. Still waiting for the paint to cure on the Batash. I was going to use all the etch brackets for the smoke boxes, but there was no way to make them fit the Academy turret curvature, maybe because the turret I'm using had the cheek armor, but I ended up using some of the Academy parts, thinned, and some plastic stock.
