Thank you, Duke, your words are much appreciated! I'm glad you like my experiment, I tried to work as I felt this subject. For me it's very important the atmosphere and to make the public feel some kind of `historical emotion`. It's important that every figurine or bust (who lack a natural base or other helping details, roots, leaves, terrain) to tell a story. If I missed this, then all my efforts are in vain. Well, I don't try "to sell myself short! ", but I know very well my limits. It's great to have such gifted artists as master Kiril Kanaev, it shows too at what level we could reach with our painting process. Also, it's a huge difference, master Kiril Kanaev worked this amazing bust by Non Metallic Metal technique which makes the achieved result so outstanding. It's very difficult to reproduce all the metal shines by non metallic colours! Warm thanks again, I hope to make something fine with this impressive bust! Cheers, Nicolae

Hi everyone! Here are some more steps, the fur need more textures and small details. I change to colour of the tunic and I'll come back to the face, some rework is necessary. Everything with Scale 75 and Vallejo acryllics. Have fun and inspiration with your projects! Nicolae

Too kind, Keith, I see now I still have a lot to work: too more textures on the fur, more right lights on the fur, working a little more to the belt, put in the right way that D effect of the tunic and so on. After that, I'll come back and fix the face and the beard too. Have a good day, my friend! Nicolae

I like how this bust is getting better and better my friend. The fur looks very real to me, the belt looks leathery and it's not even finished. The chain mail's painted nicely and the helmet shows subtle shades of metal. I can't wait to see more progress on this one.

Warm thanks, Joe and Bruce, sorry to reply so late! I was not in a good shape, very tired and I needed a pause. I hope come back and finish this guy. Not much left! I hope all of you started healthy and in good shape this year 2018! Cheers, Nicolae
